Abstract: Britain is the first country in the world to step into the era of modernization.With the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization in the mid-19th century,people's living environment,especially the public health situation of the society as a whole has seriously deteriorated.In order to improve this situation,the British government has begun to fully intervene in public health management,and has built a systematic and perfect health inspection system.Large-scale health inspection made all areas of British society in the inspection and supervision of sanitation,which has greatly improved the efficiency of public health management,and has fully guaranteed the health benefits of all people.However,due to the deep-rooted classical liberalism in British society,people also resist health inspection on the grounds of respecting individual freedom,and the public opinion usually supports it,which reflects the strong position of liberalism in British society.
