Abstract: In the new era,significant changes in the structure of social practice have triggered the need for a new paradigm of national governance.XI Jinping's idea of green development is systematic thinking and strategic answer required by the new paradigm.Facing the construction of a green economy and society or towards “green modernization”,this idea represents a new exploration by CPC and the state on the major propositions of “why to achieve green development,what kind of green development to achieve and how to achieve green development” in the new stage.Focusing on the construction of the harmonious symbiosis relationship between man and nature,changes of development mode and lifestyle led by the rule of the people,XI Jinping's idea of green development has formed a complete connotation system and reached a regularity understanding of the green transformation of economic and social relations in a super large-scale society and how the modernization of national governance realizes the development path of governance in a huge state.From the perspective of culture-civilization,theory-practice and modernization-postmodernization,the idea of green development has contemporary values of guiding a new paradigm of modernization development,expanding a new realm of Marxist ecological thinking,developing a new political economy for the future,and providing a new mechanism for global cooperative governance.This new epistemology,new development view and new practice theory on the new journey of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics in the new era,through the institutional path and collaborative practice such as institutional innovation and mechanism optimization under the leadership of the CPC,will definitely have a profound impact on China's national governance modernization and global governance.
