Abstract: The value system is the soul of modernization and determines the direction and path of modernization.Chinese-style modernization distinguishes itself from other types of modernization by its unique value system built on a “people-centered” basis,and constructs a new form of human civilization.The value system is a system formed by a series of value elements.The value scale and value criterion are the standards of measurement,the value orientation is the soul,the value pursuit is the goal,and the value realization is the means.They are interdependent and mutually supportive.On the basis of sublating the capitalist value orientation,Chinese-style modernization has formed the value orientation of “taking the people as its center” which is consistent with the purpose,original intention and mission of the CPC.The value pursuit of Chinese-style modernization is to build a socialist modernization power in an all-round way,realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,the harmonious unity of the country,society and citizens,build a community with a shared future for mankind,and realize the all-round development of human beings.The strong leadership of the CPC is the organizational guarantee for the realization of the value of Chinese-style modernization,the coordination of material civilization and spiritual civilization is the fundamental requirement for the realization of the value of Chinese-style modernization,the harmonious coexistence of man and nature is the quality guarantee for the realization of the value of Chinese-style modernization,and peaceful development is the international path for the realization of the value of Chinese-style modernization.
