Abstract: The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China proposed to further comprehensively deepen reform,which is a major political decision and an important strategic deployment of China's reform and opening-up policy in the new era.It embodies the high political consciousness of the reform and opening-up policy,and the firm determination and scientific methodology of reform in China in the new epoch.It has rich new era implications.The further comprehensive deepening of reform is based on a new historical position to further expand the connotation of reform under a new starting point,a new stage,a new strategy and a new environment;Focusing on the new tasks of the current era,it sticks to the further focusing on the theme of reform to provide a strong driving force and institutional guarantee for Chinese-style modernization.It is committed to creating new theories as well as deepening the understanding of the law of reform based on summarizing the experience of China's implementation of the reform and opening-up policy,and clarifying its principles.It is a further deployment of the reform strategic measures in response to the new requirements of practice,with the overall goal of continuing to improve and develop the socialist system with Chinese characteristics and modernizing the national governance system and capacity.In the historical context of implementing the reform and opening-up policy in China,further deepening reform across the board is not only the practical continuation of China's reform and opening-up practice over 40 years,but also an all-round effort to build China into a strong country and rejuvenate the nation.
