Abstract: The urban and rural economic cycle is the linchpin of the urban-rural relations development.Its seamless operation is pivotal for achieving integrated urban-rural development and overall rural revitalization.The urban and rural economic cycle provides essential support for production,coordination of distribution,flow of factors,and supply-demand alignment,thereby providing an industrial foundation,institutional support,endogenous momentum and a crucial engine for rural revitalization.However,practical obstacles exist in the form of separate industrial development between urban and rural areas,income disparity,inadequate flow mechanisms for factors between urban and rural areas,as well as poor supply-demand connection.To facilitate a smooth urban-rural economic cycle and promote rural revitalization,efforts should be made to enhance agricultural productivity,promote organic integration of agro-industrial complexes;improve income distribution system,standardize wealth accumulation system;deepen factor market reform,facilitate two-way flow of resource factors between urban and rural areas;drive structural reform in agricultural supply side,strengthen effective alignment of supply-demand between urban and rural areas.
