Abstract: Fairy tales are the signature genre within children's literature.Apart from other narrative genres,fairy tales have a unique self-consistent system of narrative logic.The narrative logic of fairy tales is the inner convention and the important aesthetic scale of the genre.Wishful fantasy,intrinsic rationality and essential authenticity are the three major elements that constitute the narrative logic of fairy tales.Based on the law of children's animistic thinking,the narrative logic of fairy tales is composed of self-consistence,self-sufficiency and malleability.The “fictionalization of fairy tales” is a new change and strengthening of the narrative logic of fairy tales.Fairy tales with fantasy as its core have a broad romanticist spirit,but it is relatively detached from the Chinese mainstream realistic literary tradition.Therefore,prejudice,misunderstanding and even ignorance of the narrative logic of fairy tales have led to the deteriorated ecology of fairy tales in China.As a matter of fact,fairy tales,as an important spiritual nutrition for children's growth,cultivate the poetic personality of childhood with its incomparable poetic quality,pave the way for children's humanistic foundations,and accumulate positive energy for their development.Utilizing fairy tales as a high-quality resource for children's growth is undoubtedly an important approach in reconstructing the spirit of Chinese childhood.
