The Formulation of the Guidance Standard of Professional Ethics Training Course for Primary and Secondary School Teachers

Abstract: It is vital and urgent to formulate the ‘Guidance Standard of Professional Ethics Training Coursefor Primary and Secondary School Teachers’ for deepening the reform in teachers' training as well as improving their professional ethics. The framework proposed on the basis of theory analysis, national policy review, international comparison and social investigation takes the “Four Well-Rounded Teachers” as the training aim, and includes twelve secondary indicators and thirty-one training themes. Three levels of training contentsare designed for each theme, and suggestions are provided for its implementation concerning overall design, method optimization, andevaluation system improvement.
