Abstract: Against the backdrop of intensifying technological competition and the ongoing implementation of the strategy to build an education powerhouse, science education,as the foundational pillar of the national innovation system, has increasingly become a key issue in educational reform.Collaborative efforts between universities and primary & secondary schools to advance science education not only facilitate early exposure to the spirit of science and systematic cultivation of inquiry skills but also reflect the extension of higher education's responsibilities and the restructuring of educational resources.International experience demonstrates that through institutional safeguards, resource integration, and cross-level collaboration, countries have generally promoted the continuous optimization of science education systems, establishing diverse practical models such as joint curriculum development, outreach activities, teachers' professional development, research collaboration, and mentor-led guidance, thereby systematically enhancing students' scientific literacy and inquiry capabilities.Based on China's actual conditions, efforts should be made to improve collaborative education mechanisms, establish a sound science education system, expand practical platform support, and promote universities' leading and driving role in science education,as well as their role in system construction,to lay a solid foundation for building a healthy ecosystem for the growth of outstanding innovative talents.
