Abstract: Heidegger seems to erode “value” in related descriptions. In fact,Heidegger's claim that value would be determinate characteristics which a Thing possesses, his understanding of that value is validity, and his explanation of moral good and evil are only related to the value of things, without continue thinking about the diversity of value.Heidegger discusses Being in the most extensive, profound and original sense, where Being is no longer the existence of things, let alone the existence of the value of things.By comparison,Scheler, who is closely related to Heidegger both in interpersonal interaction and thinking pattern, fully reveals the uniqueness of value essence, the diversity of value type and the order of value comparison. The reconstruction of the two philosophers' ideological confrontation about value may “erode” the misunderstanding of Heidegger's erosion of “value”,that is,Heidegger has not completely or resolutely eroded “value”,and he just opposes “Being of values”.
