Aesthetic Education Is "the Free Play of Imagination"

Abstract: The aesthetic playfulness is an old topic.In the long-standing Chinese and western traditions of aesthetics and aesthetic education, there has been a widespread pursuit of playfulness.Playfulness is not only the essential feature of aesthetics, but also the pedagogical orientation of aesthetic education.With the arrival of the era of artificial intelligence and the increasingly fierce talent competition among major powers, the rigid teaching model that has been formed for many years needs to be overturned and reconstructed.Making aesthetic education return to its playful nature is an effective path for aesthetic education to distinguish itself from knowledge-based normative teaching, and it is also a strategy to address current local educational issues and attention deficit, enhance students' creativity, and develop comprehensive and healthy personalities.
