    The Communist Party of China has always adhered to the Marxist educational philosophy,to its leadership over education,to the construction of socialism as the purpose of education,to the people-centered value,to the talent concept of all-round development,to the cultural concept of carrying forward the fine traditional Chinese culture,to the concept of cultivating “Good Teachers with Four Virtues”,and to the scientific outlook on development based on reform and innovation. Now,China has entered a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Guided by XI Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,Chinese educators will make a greater contribution towards education modernization and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation by cultivating talents with great morality.

    The issue of “agriculture,rural areas and farmers” is an important one in China's revolution and construction. It is a universal concept formed since the reform and opening up. Although “education for agriculture,rural areas and farmers” is not yet a universal concept at present,it is an important basis to solve the problems of “agriculture,rural areas and farmers”,and it is necessary to become a universal concept. Since its establishment,the Communist Party of China always attaches great importance to the issue of “agriculture,rural areas and farmers” and its education. Guided by Marxism and the vision of people-centered development,the Communist Party of China has formed plenty of thoughts on rural education,farmer education and agricultural education and its successful educational practices,which are of important basic and guiding significance for the socialist modernization construction,in accordance with the realities of China's revolution and construction at different stages. During the period of the new democratic revolution,the “education for agriculture,rural areas and farmers” was mainly to strive for and implement the equal right of farmers to receive education,to publicize revolutionary ideas and to train revolutionary cadres. In the early stage of socialist revolution and construction,the “education for agriculture,rural areas and farmers” is to start an unprecedented fundamental system and new practice of education. Since the reform and opening up,the “education for agriculture,rural areas and farmers” is to actively implement the “universal nine-year compulsory education” and agricultural education in order to achieve the well-off goal under the conditions of socialist market economy and continuous development of urbanization. In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the “education for agriculture,rural areas and farmers” is a world-advanced level of education modernization with Chinese characteristics,which actively encourages the integration of urban and rural education on the basis of vigorously promoting the prioritized development of rural education and the integration of urban and rural development.

    A sample of 799 primary and secondary school teachers was investigated with the Job Resource sub-questionnaire of Teachers' Job Characteristics Scale,the Teachers' Burnout Scale and the Chinese Version of Utrecht Work Engagement Scale. Based on the perspective of occupational mental health,we have explored the classification of job resources through factor analysis,and have investigated the influence of different classification of job resources on teachers' burnout and work engagement. The results show that:(1) organizational support,co-worker support and hardware conditions are called “motivation resources” which could predict work engagement positively,but could not predict emotional exhaustion or depersonalization; (2) autonomy and significance of work are called “growth resources” which could predict emotional exhaustion and depersonalization negatively,and could also predict work engagement positively; (3) work reward and others are called “hygiene resources” which could predict emotional exhaustion negatively,but have no effect on work engagement or depersonalization. Therefore,in the process of teacher motivation,the growth resources should be vigorously tapped,the motivation resources should be effectively developed and the hygiene resources should be rationally utilized.

    Innovation is an important force to drive the steady and rapid development of China's economy. Entrepreneurs are the main body of innovation activities and thus the development and promotion of their innovation ability have been widely valued. In order to better understand the basic characteristics of entrepreneurs' innovation ability,this study will focus on the creativity of entrepreneurial private entrepreneurs who have made outstanding achievements in the commercial field. Based on the grounded theory analysis method,this study concludes that the creative structure of entrepreneurial private entrepreneurs consists of four dimensions:basic creative competence,creative vocational skills,personality traits and sense of morality,and creative drives. Among these,“perseverance” and “moral cultivation” are the most important creative characteristics of entrepreneurial private entrepreneurs. And multiple environmental factors affect the creation and development of entrepreneurial private entrepreneurs. Therefore,the key to cultivate entrepreneurs' innovation ability is to understand the development and change modes of entrepreneurs' creativity in the complex and changeable environment,and to promote the improvement of entrepreneurs' internal creativity from the perspective of the connection between individuals and society.

    The issue of “father” and father-son relationship,in any cultural tradition,embodies multiple cultural symbols and is related to our faith. Through the articles such as “How are We to Be Father Now”,LU Xun put a proposition of the cultural enlightenment,advocating to replace the traditional concept of “tough love” with the “family love” and replace the feudal “filial piety” with the modern meaning of the “fatherhood” standard. LU Xun's construction of “ideal father” and his search for “spiritual father” can be regarded as a kind of cultural psychological metaphor for his lifelong pursuit of spiritual growth and exploration of objective truth. Besides,LU Xun tried to established a virtuous cycle mechanism among “strong father”,“strong children”,“strong family”,“strong society” and “strong country”,and to construct a model of “fatherhood” of modern significance,which has enlightenment to the cultural construction of today's China.

    HAN Yu is a giant in the history of Chinese literature and culture. In the study of HAN Yu's works,successive scholars have made great endeavors,accumulating rich experience,which helps to summarize some universally significant laws and methods for the collation and study of ancient Chinese literary works. Let's take the study of HAN Yu's poetry as an example. In the thousands of years of Chinese academic history,the undercurrents of innovation of academic thoughts and methods constantly surging,some,like the boundary of allusion annotation,the extension of punctuation schemes,the strategy of “using Ben Shi to determine the age of creation” and so on,need to be fully demonstrated and systematically summarized. Based on this,we need constantly seek the dialogue opportunities between ancient literature research and digital humanities,avoid objectified research and one-way construction,and promote the interactive empowerment of “digital” and “humanities”,with the purpose of truly realizing the concept change and method innovation of humanistic research and promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of the academic heritage of ancient Chinese literature research.

    The mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang is designed with mercury as the sea,which reflects the emperor's yearning for the ocean,and can be regarded as one of the symbols of the achievements of ocean exploration and early oceanography at that time. The Emperor made many trips to the seashore,fought with the gods of the sea in his dreams and killed giant fish with a crossbow,and after that his life came to an end. Even when being transported to the tomb in the Li Mountains,his corpse was mingled with “Bao Yu”(whole marinated fish). Qin Shi Huang's interest in ocean originated from his ambition to expand the boundary eastward onto the sea,but later on due to royal alchemists '(mostly from east provinces) deception,he began to consider ocean as a place for eternal life,which could also explain the “mercury sea” in his mausoleum. The “Sea Pond” in the Qin palace garden and the elements of the marine culture in the Emperor Qin Shi Huang's underground palace could help better understand the history of Chinese oceanography.

    The self-consciousness of modern Chinese nation is a historical concept,which needs to be investigated under the background of modern historical development. In the 20 years after the May Fourth Movement,the self-consciousness of the Chinese nation gradually deepened:the national revolution led by the cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China put forward the goal of “great liberation of the Chinese nation”; facing the national disaster after the September 18th Incident,the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China cooperated for the second time to establish the Chinese United Front against Japanese Aggression,which revealed the firm national community belief that “the Chinese nation is a whole”,which is its most important symbol. The evolution of the relationship between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China has played a key role in restricting the development of the current situation. However,at the same time,the self-consciousness of the modern Chinese national community also has profoundly restricted the development of the relationship between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China. In other words,the pursuit of liberation of the Chinese nation is a consciousness effort of the Chinese nation,the national righteous cause and the maximal popular will. Therefore,those who comply with it will prosper,while those who resist it will perish. From that it is observed that it is an inevitable historical tendency that the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China could cooperate twice and that the civil war resumed after the victory ofChina's Resistance War Against Japan and that the Kuomintang ended in failure .

    During the New Culture Movement,the topic of “Chinese character reform” kept a continuous heat in the New Youth journal,and the creation of independent Chinese Pinyin characters with Latin alphabet became an ideal plan for some new intellectuals. After the New Culture Movement,with the further advancing of the National Language Movement supported by the government,the best practical conditions that favored the creation of Chinese Pinyin characters via Roman letters had formed,and additionally the participation of government also offered the best communication personnel platform for those intellectuals who were devoted to this reforming cause,and ultimately these factors jointly accelerated the debut of the Chinese romanization scheme,which was finally accepted as the legitimate solution by Nanjing National Government,and which was the first officially recognized solution that use Roman letters for phonetic notation. The existence of the phonetic notation greatly limits the space for the “Gwoyeu Romatzyh” to play a role,but the Chinese romanization scheme and the legitimized Chinese Pinyin scheme which was made after the 1949 by the new government of the People's Republic of China display some noticeable historical continuity in terms of technology and function orientation,which,to some extent,indirectly confirms the modernity and rationality of the Chinese romanization scheme.

    Educational expansion has long-term significance for promoting economic development. Previous studies often ignore the externality of educational expansion and its crowding-out effect on labor participation rate. This paper incorporates these two factors into the growth model. Theoreticaland empirical analysis show that:(1) Educational expansion promotes the growth of output of per worker through the improvement of human capital level and technology spillovers . (2) Educational expansion reduces the labor participation rate,causing it to have an inverted U-shaped relationship with the per capita income of the total population. However,the current level of educational expansion in China is far from the turning point,and educational expansion will continue to promote the growth of the per capita income of the total population. (3) The greater the macro-education rate of return,the lower the population growth rate,and the higher the retirement age,the greater the effect of educational expansion on the per capita income of the total population. In view of this,in the context of the gradual decline in the fertility rate and the gradual increase in the probability of delayed retirement in China,the education expansion policy should be continued.
    The Character of Technological Progress and Its Influence on Skill Wage Gap in the New Era

    This paper discusses the character of technological progress in the new era. Based on the character,this paper studies the relationship between technological progress and skill wage gap. According to the China's Employer-employee Matched Data,this paper makes an empirical study by OLS and treatment effect model. The findings are as follows:1. Technological progress in the new era is skill-biased. This type of technological progress affects the wage gap between high and low skilled workers mainly by changing the relative number and productivity of different skilled workers. 2. Skill-biased technological progress in enterprises will bring wage premium for both high and low skilled workers,but the premium degrees are different. The empirical results show that the hourly wage gap between high and low skilled workers has expanded by 5.94%. 3. Further heterogeneity analysis shows that technological progress enlarges the companies with limited liability and narrows the skill wage gap of employees in private-owned enterprises,which is mainly related to some factors such as enterprise scale,target,labor demand structure and so on. This study shows the existence of a certain wage gap is somewhat scientific and reasonable and that some necessary policy should be adopted to strengthen the vocational skill training for low skilled employees in order to fully deal with the impact of the new technological revolution on the labor market.
